Tales of Satoshi (TOS) is an entertaining fictional storyline about Satoshi Nakamoto, complete with a world of characters and events. We copyright that material as we publish it, inviting visual creators to build digital characters around the evolving storyline. We also solicit the community to write new stories, but not freely - they need to be vetted for quality and believability by a community-driven Council of the Wise.
We plan to licence our copyright to NFT creators, where the contracts ensure that we receive a royalty on each subsequent sale. We are also developing our own NFTs.
Initially, only visual creators making NFTs will have a path to commercialization, which is to licence our copyright, then build and sell NFTs on our marketplace or elsewhere online. Later, some of the best writers active on our social channels will be verified and accepted as storyline collaborators, and they will receive part-share of the NFT income.
Become a fan, by registering on this site or on one of our social media accounts.
Then you are free to create non-commercial content, like memes or posts or meet-ups.
If you want to “go commercial”, once we announce that stage, you need to get verified - contact us.
Any registered member (i.e., we know your email address and you have a wallet that will accept our tokens) is eligible for Sweep Stakes air drops. However, only verified members can participate in Play-to-Earn air drops.
Apart from creating/selling NFTs and creating content as a verified member, you can also Play-to-Earn through points-driven tasks that we will announce from time-to-time. Generally, these tasks will consist of editing, mentoring, and publicizing TOS. The rewards will be in tokens that you can later trade or sell.
We are still in the evaluation phase, but most likely Ethereum or Solana. In any case, before we start minting NFTs, there is plenty of content to view on your regular browser, both at this site and our social channels.
We will announce this once we start issuing tokens.
Contact us. For members passing a viability evaluation, we offer a modified copyright contract that involves us helping get you to market.
If you are a fan, audiovisual creator, or editor, no.
If you are involved in the storyline, you need to either have a strong background in psychology, show that you can research then write creatively, or of course be someone highly familiar with Japanese culture.
